Drake Scraps R&B MIxtape

Earlier this year Drake announced that he was taking his singing to new levels as he would be releasing an entire R&B mixtape.  We even got a first single from it called “I Get Lonely Too” which was released to heavy appraise.  However it looks like his love of rapping has officially taken over and he has cancelled the idea of the R&B mixtape to just focus on rapping.

“I been rapping a lot lately,” Drake said. “Me and 40 (Noah Shebib, his producer) have been doing some great rap music, so I sort of took a hiatus on the R&B for a second. It’s cool to do R&B, I love it, but it’s just hard for me to always commit to it. Because some nights, I get in there and 40’s beats, as melodic or R&B-driven as they may be, just have that right pocket that I just wanna spit.”

Wayne Gets Unauthorized Visit

Lil Wayne has been in trouble during his entire stint at Rikers Island and it looks like he has stirred up some more.  Rikers Island Captain Raphael Collazzo has been suspended without pay after he made an unexplained 45 minute visit to Wayne’s cell.

Collazzo is not the first to be reprimanded for doing this as two other female guards were also disciplined for unauthorized visits to his cell as well as giving him special privileges earlier in his bid.

Hmm….I wonder what those female guards were stopping by for…? GO WEEZY!

Young Buck’s Personal Stuff Not To Be Auctioned Off

It looks like Young Buck may finally be catching a break.  His attorney has worked out a deal with the IRS that will allow him to keep the personal items that were taken from his Nashville home during the raid earlier this year. The items were set to be auctioned off however now Buck will be allowed to sell real estate to cover the debt he owes to the government.

“Sorry PEOPLE. There will be no AUCTION of my STUFF tomorrow!! Lol!! TRY AGAIN,” Buck tweeted this week. (Young Buck’s Twitter)
