The Red Bull music academy has been releasing some great interviews from their Music Academy lectures in Madrid. The latest is a two-hour long sitdown with singer, poet and producer Erykah Badu.

She discusses everything from starting out as a rapper and getting sampling lessons from J-Dilla1998 to how she’d pretend to seduce him because he was so shy.
