Its no secret that before Lil Wayne turned himself in, and headed to Rikers Island he went full force with his music. Before turning himself in to pay his debt to society, Wayne did several music videos and songs to continue the “Weezy Effect” until he returned back into the general population. The video was directed by David Rousseau and featured the band “Mayday”. The location for the video was rooftop of the Marlin Hotel on South Beach, Miami. We all know that Wayne has been on his “rockstar” steez for quite some time and honestly I think its working for him.
