TMZ, E! News Online, and others in the internet have officially released the 911 call that send Fantasia to the hospital from an attempted suicide attempt.

According to E! An EMT unit responded to an emergency call placed at approximately 8:55 p.m. from Barrino’s home in Glynmoor Lakes in which an unidentified caller reported that a woman “had taken a bottle of aspirin and she’s slowly losing consciousness.”

The caller answered various questions from the dispatcher, saying the victim (later identified by her manager as Barrino) was “halfway” awake, breathing and not violent.

“The family tried to put her in the shower to try and keep her awake,” said the individual.

At that point, the dispatcher ordered them to take her out of the shower while they waited for an ambulance.

Brian Dickens, suggested that the overwhelming media attention from the suit and the stress of the situation may have left Barrino in a fragile emotional state

The suicide attempt took place just days after Fantasia was named as the other woman in a divorce petition filed by Paula Cook, a North Carolina woman who accused Barrino of having an affair with her husband, Antwaun Cook.
