Rapper Fat Joe has just confirmed his new record deal
with E1 Music and is set to release his upcoming album The
Dark Side
through the label this summer. Via press release, Joe
expressed his thoughts on converting to a small label.

“It’s been a
long time coming,” he stated. “I have a long history with
Alan
Grunblatt
and everyone at E1. Although it’s a small label, they
have the best marketing and promotion staff in the hip-hop game and I’m
looking forward to working with them on my new album, ‘The Dark Side.’”

Fat Joe’s The Dark Side will hit stores on
Monday, June 28th.

Flesh-N-Bone Arrested for Outstanding Warrants

Flesh-N-Bone, of the Hip-Hop quartet Bone Thugs-N-Harmony,
was arrested by the Cuyahoga County Sheriff’s Office last night
in Cleveland on two outstanding warrants. The arrest took place during a
concert at the House of Blues but because of the arrest the show
and venue were closed down. Court documents reveal that Flesh,
whose real name is Stanley Howse, was charged with felonious
assault with firearm specifications and domestic violence with firearm
specifications back in January of 1999; the warrants allegedly stem from
both charges. Flesh was recently released after serving two
months in a Los Angeles County jail for gun and marijuana
possession.  No other details have been released as of right now.
