Fat Joe has no plans of reuniting with incarcerated rapper Remy Ma, as he recently explained the impact her disrespect had on him during their mid-2000’s fallout.

When asked about the jailed rapstress, Joey Crack said he could never forgive Remy for the past.

“I don’t keep in contact with Remy,” Joe revealed in an interview. “Me and Remy, we fell out. All I did for that girl was help her; make her rich; took her from the projects, single parent mom; put her on hit records; [and she] toured across the world with us. She was down with us, had a different car for every day of the week. When her album came out and it didn’t do as good as she anticipated, she wanted to blame somebody. See, me, I don’t run away. During my successes or my failures, I put it on me. You can’t find an interview where I’m standing there talking about, ‘Yo, this executive’ […] some people don’t understand it’s not an overnight success for everybody. It’s a grind. It’s happened for me. I make a great living — a lot of artists make a great living. But, she, you know, she was getting real disrespectful with me and real disrespectful towards my family on the radio. I could never forgive Remy Martin. She really hurt my feelings.” (XXL Mag)

Last year, Remy partook in an on-air phone interview and talked about her relationship with Joe.

“Hopefully I can be home soon, like, before the summer,” Remy told radio personality Jenny Boom Boom regarding her appeal last February. “If none of my appeals work and I had to do the most, probably another three years, a little bit over three years. I have eight [years], but you don’t do the whole eight, you have to do about six and I’ve already done two…Never, never [has Joe reached out]. Not once — he’s not really a stay in touch type of dude, I think if he didn’t think it would backfire that he might try it or something but I’ve got messages like ‘How’s she doing?’ or ‘I wanna go see her,’ or ‘I’m gonna go see her,’ but as far as me personally getting anything, no. I’m good, my husband makes sure I’m good. I have real friends and real people…” (“Jenny Boom Boom TV”)

Although Joe and Remy had a falling out around 2005, the Terror Squad head also gave his regards to the rapper two years ago.

“She’s just, you know, stay strong because I don’t wish that on nobody,” Joe said in an interview. “Not [even] on my worst enemy. She got a kid and family who misses her so I can, that’s, that’s, you know, I wish her the best. She can come home or whatever the case may be. You know, we rockin’ on.” (Global Grind TV)
Last month, reports emerged online claiming Remy would not be eligible for an early jail release until 2015.

Remy Ma is currently serving an eight-year sentencestemming from 2008 convictions on assault, weapons possession and coercion charges. After losing her appealearlier this year, the rapstress, whose real name is Reminisce Smith, will have a parole hearing in September 2014 with an eligibility date set for January 31, 2015, according to court documents. If parole is denied, the 30-year-old, who began serving time on May 21, 2008, may remain in New York’s Bedford Hills Correctional Facility for Women until March 23, 2016 – her sentence’s maximum expiration date.
