According to recent reports, there was a fatal shooting at Rich Homie Quan concert. The recent concert was held at The Red Zone bar, 303 S. Front St. the downtown area of Columbus, Ohio.

Now according to bystanders around 2:30 a.m while Rich Homie Quan was performing his U.S billboard Hot 100 hit song “Type of Way”, the shooting began. Rich Homie Quan wasn’t hurt, but there was one fatal shot delivered to Jeremiah Frazier, age 24.

Columbus police said. He was transported to Ohio Health Grant Medical Center, where he was then pronounced dead at 5:21 a.m. The police department have delivered a statement indicating that they have yet to find the motive behind the shooting of Mr.Frazier.

Also at one of Rich Homie Quan previous concerts last month it was reported that there was another shooting at the same venue on November 9. The Rich Homie fan shot was not fatally wounded but was hospitalized and recovered.

I personally think this definitely is no accident and may need to be looked into closer from the Columbus Ohio Police Department. Due to the high volume of violent occurrences at Red Zone bar, the City of Ohio will be filing the proper paperwork to strip them of their liquor license.

Rich Homie Quan is at the young age 23 years old and on top of the Hip Hop Charts. Coming from being one of the hit local Atlanta artist to a nationally known rap artist. Quan dedicated countless hours in the studio, Quan began delivering the streets hit after hit, which eventually resulted in the 2008 smash “Stay Down” featuring the Stack Money Boys.

I would really have to say that this an insult to the hip hop society that we can not come together and enjoy the music that we all vibe to without someone being violently hurt or shot dead.

After the first shooting occurred, the police department should have been definitely well prepared for this type of reaction to the rap artist performing. Its unfortunate but with this recent news its necessary. We need to do better and represent hip hop better as a whole.

Our condolences to the Frazier family, our prayers are with you.
