Miami, Fl rapper Flo Rida has set a single-week digital sales record with his song “Low,” beating out heavyweights including Alicia Keys and Fergie to take the online crown.

According to Billboard.com, “Low” is No. 1 on this
week’s Billboard Hot 100 for the second week in a row and set a record
with 470,000 in digital sales, easily trouncing reigning record-holder
Fergie, whose “Fergalicious” sold 294,000. Flo Rida has sold a total of 1,551,766 digital singles since it’s release in November.

“Low” is the lead single off Flo Rida’s debut album, Mail On Sunday, which is set to drop in February. The song features fellow Florida native and R&B crooner T-Pain.

The rap newcomer’s sales record came during a week when digital
sales were at an all-time high and several hip-hop and R&B hits
took the top spots. Alicia Keys’ “No One” nabbed No. 2, while rapper/super producer Timbaland took No. 3 with his hit “Apologize.” Teen phenom Chris Brown landed at No. 4 with “Kiss Kiss,” another T-Pain assisted smash, and Soulja Boy’s “Crank That (Soulja Boy)” jumped from No. 11 to No. 5.
