While America is parading the death of the al Qaeda leader, skepticism is still running rampant throughout the world amongst different individuals that are still in disbelief that Osama Bin Laden was killed. Within Hip-Hop, some artists are even expressing their skepticism, one of them being new CTE signee Freddie Gibbs.
The Gary, Indiana emcee is quite stern on the fact that he believes the government is lying to us. He’s even going as far as to call it government propaganda. He recently spoke to Power 105’s Breakfast Club this morning about his skepticism and was very blunt about it.
These were his comments:
“I think it’s all bullshit. Government propaganda. I don’t know what to believe right now. They probably got a bin Laden stunt double they killed, I don’t want to disrespect no victims of 9/11, but he probably ain’t had nothing to do with that. We don’t know. It’s up in the air. The government holds so many secrets. That’s why all you motherfuckers that’s outside the White House cheering, I don’t know what the fuck y’all cheering for. That shit is stupid.”
At the same time, however, he still understands the predicament that President Obama is in, when a whole nation is looking you for answers:
“I feel sorry for Obama, because he’s probably the most stressed nigga in America right now.”
Gibbs continued to speak on the fact that Americans are celebrating, but he’d whether worry about the backlash and the retaliation America is about to experience:
“If people think that the Arab nations just gon’ let this shit rock – we killed Gaddafi’s son and bin Laden in the same week – it’s about to be some shit. Y’all motherfuckers think it’s just gon’ blow over like that and it ain’t no thing? Whatever, man. You gotta respect everybody’s culture and religion. And America, we always trying to be the world police and it’s just going to bite us in the ass.”
