Infamous member of G-Unit, Tony Yayo, was arrested
on Saturday, March 24, 2007 in New York on charges stemming from harassment and
endangering the welfare of a child. Yayo and other G-Unit members were arrested
for an incident that involved the son of archrival, Game’s
manager.

The incident that occurred earlier in the week involved Czar Entertainment
manager Jimmy “Henchmen” Richmond’s 14-year-old-son.
Richmond and Czar Entertainment manages G-Unit’s archrival The Game. With
the beef that has been rising between both G-Unit and The Game, this situation
got totally out of hand. Violator, which is 50 Cent and G-Unit
management team, are on the same block (West 24th Street) as Czar Entertainment.

Apparently, Tony Yayo and other G-Unit Members, that including 50 Cent, drove
past a young boy wearing a T-shirt with a Czar Entertainment logo printed on
the front. Unaware that the young boy was Richmond’s son, Yayo allegedly
backhanded him and used profound words bashing Czar Entertainment. The 14-year-old
boy and his mother, Cynthia Reed, later went to the police and identified Yayo
as the attacker. Reed released a statement to MTV on Saturday evening implying
both Yayo and Fifty’s involvement in the attack of her son.

"As a mother I am concerned that my son (who is a fan of hip-hop)
would be attacked by the same artist whose music he listens to," the statement
reads. "It’s a shame that 50 Cent and Tony Yayo could feel comfortable
slapping and physically attacking an innocent 14-year-old minor that they market
and promote their records to. This is a cowardly act on my son, who has done
nothing to warrant the verbal and physical abuse he received. This issue should
not be taken lightly and these men should be looked upon as a serious threat
to society, having taken their relentless public rants towards their rivalries
to [an extreme] level. This [incident] should be looked [upon] as a step away
from child molestation. I seek justice in the form of restoring my son’s dignity
and making sure any child can wear whatever they want without fear of bodily

With an extensive wrap sheet from prior convictions in 2002 and 2004 that landed
him in jail, Yayo does not need anymore legal trouble. With Fifty’s career
at its peak and ready for the release of his next anticipated album, he definitely
does not need any legal problems at all.
