There was talk of another soundscan showdown to go down
between G-Unit and The Game this summer as they were both
scheduled to release new albums on June 24th.

50 commented however that he would not allow that to happen
and would instead push The Game’s album back to allow the G-Unit album to
breathe. “I’m just gonna wait a while and then just push his album back.” 50
said of his plans for delaying Game’s record.

The Game of course said that wasn’t gonna happen and the new
record would be on shelves on its scheduled release date. Well now it looks
like neither of them are right as the top brass at Interscope has decided to
push both of the records back and space them out a week in between each other.

The Unit’s Terminate on Sight will be coming on July 1st,
while The Game’s LAX follows the next week dropping July 8th. No comments have
been made yet by either G-Unit or Game but expect some bitching to be coming
from somewhere pretty soon.
