The film, which also stars Tyrese (Baby Boy), Lorenz Tate (Menace II Society) and Meagan Good (Deliver Us From Eva, 50 Cent’s “21 Questions” video), was initally slated for release last year.

The movie centers around O2 (Tyrese), an ex-con who wants to clean his life up, but must face his past when his son is kidnapped by crime lord Meat (The Game). O2 seeks the help of a hustler named Coco (Good) and they form a Bonnie & Clyde-like union on the way to save O2’s son.
Waist Deep is scheduled to hit theaters on June 23.
