Produced by John Shotti, the 18-track mixtape is a unique blend of genres which attempts to tell a cohesive story with Cam’s rhymes laid over quintessential Prince tracks such as "When Doves Cry" and "Kiss." The mixtape even features a chopped and screwed version of "Pussy Control."
In addition to Cam’s Uptown flow, A Prince in Harlem, also features verses from Big Pun, N.O.R.E., Jim Jones, Juelz Santana, and The Lox.
In related news, Cam’ron’s next studio set, Killa Season, is due May 16. The album will be accompanied by a film of the same title.
The Tapemasters’ A Prince in Harlem is in stores now.
