Long Beach, CA – Nate Dogg’s sudden death comes a huge to the world as people have always revered him to be a definite pioneer in West Coast Hip-Hop. In retrospect it seems as though we are losing our beloved artists too quick, as the question goes, ‘Why do all the good die young?’

The G-Funk legend, born Nathaniel Dwayne Hale, passed away on Tuesday (March 15) as the family made the announcement shortly after. At press time, the cause of death has not been reported, however Hale was suffering severe health problems since he suffered a massive stroke in 2007 that left him partially paralyzed and another shortly after within the same time period. Nate Dogg will be remembered for his soulful voice that carried a heavy tone within all his music from past to present. He has worked with the greats from Dr. Dre to Snoop Dogg to Warren G to Daz Dillinger to 2Pac, Ludacris, Mobb Deep, Eminem, Twista, and many others in the Rap game across the nation. Many artists and celebrities respected Hale for his pure talent and humble optimism.

Hale was a four-time Grammy nominee, earning his first notice in 1995 for the legendary collaboration with Warren G on a track we all know as ‘Regulate.’ Then in 2001 he followed up by providing an unforgettable hook to the Dre and Snoop classic ‘The Next Episode’ off of Dre’s sophomore effect 2001. By 2002 his talents were beginning to be recognized worldwide as the third notice from the infamous hook on Ludacris’ ‘Area Codes’ took him farther into his career. The final one was in 2007 for his work on Eminem’s ‘Shake That.’

Nate Dogg has always had that recognizable, soulful sound that we’ve been honored to hear from countless songs by other artists over the years. In fact, Hale also released a couple of solo albums that include: 1998’s Double CD G-Funk Classics Vol. 1 & 2, 2001’s Music & Me and a self-titled joint in 2008.

Following the final announcement of Hale’s sudden passing, a numerous amounts of his Hip-Hop brethren are feeling the effects and are reflecting his life. It apparent that Snoop, Daz, and Warren G were hit the hardest with his sudden loss.

U will always b wit me 4ever n a day u put the g n g funk u put the 1 n 213 n u put yo stamp on evrybdy u ever didit wit … I miss u cuzz I am so sad but so happy I got to grow up wit u and I will c u again n heaven cuz u know d slogan. … All doggs go to heaven yo homie n baby brotha bigg snoopdogg!!”

“R.I.P. TO MY HOMEBOY NATE DOGG DPGC DOGG POUND GANGSTA 4 LIFE,” Daz tweeted.

“I lost a friend, been here before. Tears. Memories. One day someone will lose ‘US’ as well. LIVING until that day comes is our only option. R.I.P. Nate Dogg. Why does it take Death to remind us about the importance of life ??? Cherish every moment cuz tomorrow he mite call your #.” Tweeted The Game

“We love you Nate Dogg, it’s never going to be the same,” Xzibit tweeted.

“There is a certain void in hip hop’s heart that can never be filled. Glad we got to make history together. RT @SnoopDogg: RIP NATE DOGG,” Ludacris tweeted.”
