Flo Rida links up with Dj Semtex in the U.K. and Shares his thoughts on Rick Ross and 50 Cent Beef

Flo Rida was recently in the U.K and got a chance to link up with Dj Semtex for an interview at BBC 1Xtra, during the interview Flo Rida talked about his new hit record ‘Right Round’, the upcoming album R.O.O.T.S, his appearance at the MTV awards in Africa and then of course Semtex had to ask him what he felt about the whole Ross and 50 controversy… If you missed the interview here is a quick recap:

Dj Semtex: so with this whole situation that’s going down with Rick Ross and 50 Cent, how do you think it’s gonna pile out in the long term?

Flo Rida: (…) I don’t know the outcome of it but you know I met 50 and I’m boy’s with Rick Ross but hopefully they can put this on the side and really get over this because they are both very talented artists and at the end of they day, and everybody has got their own choice and freedom of speech but we seen what happen with Biggie and Pac and I definitely don’t want that to happen, so preferably both of them will get over it soon… but I mean it is nothing but love in the south, we get much further in life with love than hate.

Dj Semtex: I’m not trying to get you involved, or say that Flo Rida said this, but I’m just asking for your take on the whole situation… do you think its going to be good for both of their album sales for like 50 and Rick Ross and the whole situation (…) because you in the south and in Miami daily and we’re in the U.K. so all we see is the YouTube clips and the freestyles and everything but what’s the whole response to it like in the streets of Miami where you guys are from?

Flo Rida: (…) it’s definitely getting to everyone’s attention, I mean we have seen it before and whoever wins the battle wins the record sales…

Flo Rida seems to be a very sensible and humble guy, but he is not the only one wishing for the whole Ross and 50 Cent beef to be over soon… As I currently live in the U.K. I have noticed nothing but mad love out here for both rappers, we hope they get themselves together soon, wave their white flags and continue putting out good music for the people.

‘Dead Man Running’ Movie Trailer Release

The trailer of the highly anticipated U.K. gangland movie ‘Dead Man Running’ featuring rapper 50 Cent has been released.

This indie London film is by Alex de Rakoff,  Danny Dyer, Brenda Blethyn and Tamer Hassan also star. The story goes, a loan shark gives ex-con Nick a period of 24 hours in order to pay back the money he owes. Up against it, Nick involves his best mate on a multi-part mission in order to raise the cash before it’s too late for them both.

I watched the trailer and personally I don’t think it looks very appealing, it seems deep but kind of dry but I guess I can only give an honest answer after I watched the whole movie.
