Ciara was quoted saying, “I will say it because the information has been leaked. Me and Jay-Z will be doing a 10-city tour run together! More details coming soon!” Ciara Tweeted on Monday night.

However, a rep for Jay-Z told MTV News that the tour would not include 10 cities. Further details were not revealed.

Billboard reported Tuesday that the dates will include stops at on July 3 and 4 at The Pearl at The Palms in Las Vegas, July 10 at Mohegan Sun Arena in Connecticut, and July 12 in Atlanta. In June, Ciara will support Britney Spears on the European leg of the “Circus” tour in June.

Ciara, whose latest album ‘Fantasy Ride’ was released last week, appeared on “Saturday Night Live” (with Justin Timberlake on keyboards) and David Letterman’s show in the past few days.

Eminem Will Fly 200 Laid Off Auto Workers to His Upcoming Show

Rapper Eminem does have a heart after all. The Toledo Free Press reports that Em will be flying in 200 laid off auto workers to his upcoming performance on Jimmy Kimmel.

The auto industry has been one of the hardest hit by the harsh economic times with sky rocketing gas prices and lackluster sales of vehicles as a whole. These hard times have caused lots of workers to lose their jobs and stability. No comment from Eminem yet as to what prompted him to do this, but Ohio Modular Management employee Jon Michael Zapf talked to the paper stating:

“He is flying us out, all expenses paid, for the show to put a face on the American auto workers who are affected by this hardship, he is supposed to do a meet and greet and sign autographs.”

Eminem will appear for three nights on Kimmel’s ABC evening talk show. His first performance will be the pre-taped May 15 show, followed by a live appearances on May 19 and 22. His latest album ‘Relapse’ hits stores on May 19.

T.I. and Al Sharpton Host Anti-Gun Rally in New York 

FOR A GOOD CAUSE:  In one of his last public appearances before he turns himself in to begin a one year Federal prison sentence, T.I. showed up in New York City with Al Sharpton at an anti-gun rally. This past Monday, May 11th T.I. appeared in Harlem at the rally which honored Christopher Owen, 13 years old and 17 year old Cory Squire who were recently gunned down.

TIP spoke candidly about his upcoming sentence and apologized to his fans for the decisions he made while vowing to re-emerge next year a stronger and wiser…and “richer” individual.

Queens emcee Ja Rule was also on hand for the event.
