The list is now posted and it’s
apparent that Jay Z has left a huge foot print on the hip hop
world grabbing  five  nominations with his wife Beyonce at his
side with four.

 BET is giving its props to
the many strong artists that have dominated the music industry over the past
few months …even Justin Bieber.

Bieber received one nomination
for Best New Artist and it’s no joke.  The teen sensation will compete
against Nicki Minaj and Melanie Fiona.

Beyonce and Alicia Keys are
competing for Best Female R&B Artists and Trey Songz is recognized for Best Collaboration, for “Successful” and
“Say Aah;  all three have four nominations each.

Lil Wayne may have
something to smile about while in prison as Drake and Young Money (the first to
be nominated as a group) picks up three nominations. Nicki Minaj picked up two.

Queen Latifah will
host the 10th annual BET Awards live from the Shrine Auditorium in
L.A. June 27.
