Jay-Z, who recently tour down the Glastonbury music festival in England, told the press that there is no ill will towards Oasis front man Noel Gallagher. Noel was one of the ones saying that Jay-Z shouldn’t be involved in the festival and that hip hop had “no place” there. Well needless to say he was wrong and Jay proved it to him when he had the whole crowd going crazy for about an hour of pure hip hop entertainment. Well now Noel is reportedly trying to save face and apologize to Jay for his crazy and ignorant comments. Jay in his usual Sinatra swag has said he has no ill feelings towards the little limey Noel and is even open to working with him. “I haven’t spoken to him,” Jay said. “I heard he was reaching out, but I haven’t spoken to him.” Jay even said he’s open to working with Oasis in the future should something suitable come up. “Anyone,” he answered, when asked about who he’d be willing to work with. “Oasis as well — it doesn’t matter to me, I don’t bear any grudge, it’s all good.” Of course not. Why keep a grudge when you proved them all wrong and in the process made Noel look like an ass?

Some more good news for his fans is that Jay said he is going back in the lab to make another classic for us. He said as soon as he gets off the tour bus, or plane in his matter, he will most likely get right to it.  “Well, after the tour, I’m going back home and we’ll look at it and see if I can start a project this year,” he said. “I would love to do it, to be honest with you. It would be a great thing to do when I come home from tour, but it’s vibe. I can’t say, ‘On this date this is going to happen.’ If I get home and the vibe is right, it’ll happen. If not, then top of next year.” “I can’t give you the concepts or themes, but I’ve got a very clear direction of where I want to go with this one, and we’ll see how it works.”  I wonder what he is thinking of now. Do you think Jay should do another concept album like American Gangster or just go in there and make some good records?
