Dipset capo Jim Jones is being honored in New Jersey on June 27th   at a public school for his charitable work with raising awareness on HIV. The 27th is The National HIV Testing Day and Jones, whose both father and uncle passed from the disease has been on the grind lately speaking at schools and community centers to kids about the importance of both protecting yourself and getting tested for the disease.

National HIV Testing Day is a community mobilization and social marketing campaign that encourages people to take advantage of voluntary HIV counseling, testing and prevention services. In addition to just speaking Jones will be honored by both the mayor of New Jersey, Jerramiah Healy and New Jersey Senator Sandra Cunningham by receiving a symbolic key to the city of Jersey City. Jones will be given such honor due to the extensive work he has put in to speak to youth about HIV and AIDS. While the event is open to the public only those who have proof of a recent HIV test will be allowed into the event.

The event will give hope to those who have the disease as they will be providing lectures and seminars on ways to treat the disease, besides having Magic Johnson’s unknown cure.  Congrats to Jimmy on this as we definitely need more rappers spreading knowledge on this HIV shit instead of just telling how they fuck and get sucked off all the time but NEVER mention a condom. Hopefully more of our heroes will step forward and join the cause.
