Hip Hop and R&B producer Christopher R. Liggio has filed paperwork to sue Jim Jones for allegedly sampling a copyrighted song without permission.
The suit claims that the Capo, as well as Entertainment One, Universal Music Publishing, and several other defendants used Liggio's song, "Changing the Locks/Disco Rabbit."
Liggio was given co-author and producer credit in the liner notes for the song, but claims that Jones never contacted him. Liggio has worked with Jay-Z, Mary J. Blige, Ludacris and others.
In February, Jim was sued by several women who said that they were featured topless in his "Summertime" video without their permission.
