Atlanta rapper and 1/4 of Boyz N Da Hood group member Jody Breeze has officially left Sho Nuff Records, owned by
producer Jazze Pha.

There was a conflict of personalities which caused a breakdown in communication causing Breeze to move away from his solo deal a representative said. He had previously put his solo album A Day in the Life Of Jody Breeze on hold to focus on albums by Boyz N Da Hood.

The news of his departure from ShoNuff Records puts the release of his first solo album in question. Jody Breeze signed with Jazze Pha’s ShoNuff imprint at the age of 18. Three months later, Sean “Diddy” Combs signed Jody Breeze and the group Boyz N Da Hood, which resulted in two albums, Boyz N Da Hood (2005) and Back Up N Da Chevy (2007).

Breeze, who recently won a BMI Award for co-writing “Come to Me” on Diddy’s Press Play album, is now a free agent. The Atlanta rapper also penned three other tracks on Press Play, including “Through the Pain,” which featured Mario Winans.

Representatives for Jazze Pha were not available as of press time.
