In an attempt to reach out to rapper Eminem, Dipset’s
Juelz Santana took to a Ustream broadcast to express
his interest in collaborating with Em. During the
Ustream, Juelz spoke on his admiration for Em
and even said he was considering contacting Lil Wayne
in order to have a meeting set up with him.
“Eminem
is my n*gga, seriously, that’s what I been trying to get on the ‘Rap
Cemetery’ with me and Weezy, Eminem,” Santana
said. “Because he puts n*ggas in the rap cemetery for real. Em,
holla at me, get at me, what’s up? I’m here. That’s the only n*gga I
really, you know, that I’ll get on a UStream or anywhere like,
‘Yo, I need to holler at Em.’ I f*cks with Em hardbody,
matter of fact, I might have to call Weezy up and
have him connect the dots for me. They just put that little nice
f*cking ‘Drop The World’ on you…”
A collaboration track with Juelz and Eminem; would it be fire or an epic fail?
Fabolous Hoping for Nas’ Big Comeback
Rapper Fabolous recently discussed the
younger Hip-Hop generation’s ignorance when it comes to rapper Nas
and the contributions he has made to Hip-Hop. During an interview with Karen
Civil, Fab explained the impact that Nas has had on
him and expressed his hopes for Nas to make a strong comeback to
show these “young boys” that he is one of the greatest emcees to ever do
it.
“Nas, Nas, like Nas is so ill,” Fab told
interviewer Karen Civil. “I think this younger generation of
hip-hop really don’t know, like, I got a dude who rolls with me, he’s
like 21, 22, he don’t know any of the ill Nas, he don’t know Illmatic,
you just don’t know that Nas that I grew up with. I wish Nas
would just let these young boys know he’s that dude.”
Well, there are a lot of people who agree. Do you think Nas is one of the best to ever bless the mic?
DMX Arrested on Drug Charges, Again!!!
It was confirmed late Tuesday evening that rapper DMX
was arrested by Adult Probation officers and charged with five counts
of violating his probation. Although initially details were unclear, it
was believed that X’s arrest was drug-related.
According to Joe
Arpaio, Arizona’s Maricopa County Sheriff, X has
admitted to using illegal drugs.
“He admitted to using cocaine, so he’s
back in our jail,” said Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio.
“I think it’s about time to give him hard time.” The get-tough sheriff
said if the rapper is serious about kicking his drug habit, the Arizona
jail system — where X has already logged time on animal cruelty
and drug possession charges — could help him get clean. “We do have a
great drug prevention program in the jail, so if he stays in our jail
system I will consider (letting) him go through our program,” Arpaio
said.
X’s lawyer Gary Jenkins says that he has been
battling addiction for a while and hopes that Dr. Drew Pinsky will
be able to help the rapper. Looks like X may see Celebrity
Rehab after-all. No other details have been released.
