The original college dropout has been known to make certifiable hits every single time he drops an album. It seems like every year his lyricism and beat production ups a notch or two on many different levels. The Chi-town native has praised for his eclectic style and Grammy award-winning production, he can practically make a hit single just by featuring on the track. Kanye West has returned and in very short period I might add, his last album is still selling even now, and approximately a year later his new album is already completed.

The first single off of his new album, ‘Love Lockdown,’ has already had sold over 200,000 units online alone. Apparently Ye has decided to go a different route on his next LP and even though 50 Cent may mock the idea, West’s fans are all for the contemporary change. Even before the MTV Video Music Awards of this year even aired, he already slated his own release date for a late December release and around that time 50 also hinted his album, ‘Before I Self-Destruct,’ to drop around the same time hunting for yet another album sales battle. Well, sometime today (Sept. 24) West released comments on his blog off of his website KanyeUniverseCity.com stating that it seems like that album sales battle for this year will not occur do to the fact that Ye has decided to release his album a month earlier than stated.

These were his blog comments:

“I changed my album to November something, ’cause I finished the album and I felt like it, I want y’all to hear it as soon as possible.”

Interestingly enough, he even made a small comment about his musical rival 50 sometime last week:

“I just woke up from a quick studio nap. I’ve been workin’ on 808s and Heartbreak about 16 hours a day and Superman passed out for a little bit. I’m in Hawaii but I’m still on NY time, so I wake up mad early, do some business, blog, jog for an hour, play ball, eat and then hit the stu by noon. While approving the final cut for the ‘Love Lockdown’ vid, I marvel at the fact that it was written less than three weeks ago. I’m very excited about everything. I guarantee this will be 50’s favorite album of mine. This will be gangster’s album of the year.”

At press time, West’s label, Def Jam, has yet to release a statement on the official release date, it seems like Kanye has all the control there. He is also currently working on several tracks off of Jay-Z’s new album ‘The Blueprint 3,’ as well as new tracks for T.I.
