On the Billboard 200 albums chart, Kanye West’s “Jesus Is King” debuts at #1. “Jesus Is King” is West’s ninth studio album that was released October 25, 2019 Through GOOD Music and Def Jam Records. This album is also gospel inspired.
This ninth consecutive album has tied Eminem and broke a personal record with the biggest streaming week ever. According to Billboard, “Jesus Is King” is on demand for streams at 196.9 million.
“Jesus Is King” also has the year’s second largest sales week for an R&B/Hip Hop album, selling at more than 100,000 copies. Coming second to the album “Hollywood’s Bleeding”by Post Malone.
