Kanye West is joining the ranks of many other superstar rappers such as Pharell, E-40, and Queen Latifah by opening up a chain of Fatburger restaurants in the Chicago area. The legendary burger chain may be unheard of to those of us down south but it has been a staple in the more northern parts of the country, even being made famous by the unforgettable Notorious B.I.G. line “If you wanna spoil her, take her to her to Fatburger”.

Kanye’s first restaurant will open next month and  is located at 15110 S. La Grange Road and will boast a 2,353-square-foot, 74-seat seating capacity. The move is the first in Kanye’s new food company, KW Foods LLC, which plans to open 10 more Fatburger restaurants in the Chicago area alone.  The second restaurant has already gone into development and will be located at 95th and Western Avenue. Kanye has not issued any statement yet as for his future plans or goals with the Fatburger chains or any other business ventures but a spokeswoman for the Fatburger chain said we should expect one soon.

Now all we need is some southern rappers to open some Fatburgers down here. We love greasy refried and microwaved beef just as much as the next man.
