It appears as though Kanye West couldn’t quite wait until Good Friday (April 6) to restart on his “G.O.O.D. Fridays” series.

Instead, fans were treated on Thursday (April 5) at 8:00 PM to “Mercy,” which features West, 2 Chainz, Big Sean and Pusha T. The song serves as the first single off the upcoming G.O.O.D. Music compilation, which was recently recorded in international recording studios.

On the track, West reaches new levels of braggadocio, boasting, “I threw suicides on that private jet / You know what that means, I’m fly to death /  I step in the Def Jam building like I’m the shit / Tell them give me $50 million or I’ma quit / Most rappers taste level ain’t even at my waste level / Turn up the bass level till it’s at your face level.”

West previously released the track “TheraFlu” featuring DJ Khaled and DJ Pharris. And while initial reports were that the song would appear on an upcoming Khaled project, it now looks like “TheraFlu” will most likely land on the G.O.O.D. Music compilation album and/or a future Kanye West solo effort.
West is currently streaming “TheraFlu” for free on KanyeWest.com. The track alludes to a tryst with socialite Kim Kardashian and takes an overt shot at her ex-husband, New Jersey Nets power forward, Kris Humpries. As for “Mercy,” the single is currently available for purchase via iTunes.
