Queens, New York rap legend Kool G. Rap recently sat down with AllHipHop.com to discuss his relationship with video model/author Karrine “Superhead” Steffans.
During the interview, G. Rap commented on Steffan’s controversial 2006 book “Confessions of a Video Vixen.”
The book contains a number of shocking allegations about rappers like Jay-Z, Bobby Brown, Ja
“Confessions of a Video Vixen” also detailed Steffan’s volatile relationship with Kool G. Rap, with whom she has a 14-year-old son.
On the heels of Steffans’ admission that “Confessions of a Video Vixen” was “fabricated,” AllHipHop.com has released a portion of a previous interview with Kool G. Rap, where he discusses the book.
“In her first book, she mixed lies with truth. And captured an audience that wasn’t able to decipher what was true from what was false,” Kool G. Rap told AllHipHop.com. “If I feel I’m not guilty of anything, I’m not going to vigorously defend myself, I know what it is. It seemed like her story was a story and that’s it. It’s always two sides to a story. It’s her story, my side of the story and the truth. And I would consider my story more closer to the truth. I’m not trying to put out a book. If I did put out a book, it wouldn’t have anything to do with any of that.”
Coincidentally, Steffans upcoming book “Satisfaction” is labeled “Faction” – facts, mixed with fiction.
Kool G. Rap, who normally shuns the spotlight, simply wants to have a relationship with his son.
“I don’t even have any kind of contact, or information on how to contact him,” Kool G. Rap revealed to AllHipHop.com.
G. Rap almost had contact with his son, when someone contacted him via popular social networking site, Facebook.com.
“He told me was a barber and he cuts my sons hair,” Kool G. Rap told AllHipHop.com. “I told him to tell my son ‘I’m his father and I love him.’ and I gave him my numbers and told him he any time he wanna call me he, he can always call me.”
