New York, NY – For the past several weeks Lil B has been the subject in media headlines and sometimes clouded around much controversy. The California emcee seems to always have his foot in his mouth at the wrong times and people are always watching.

First it was the announcement of his debut album title and now it’s his recent comments he posted on Twitter about the recent death of Osama bin Laden. Apparently his comments have received a lot of backlash both online and off.

Immediately hearing about Osama bin Laden death, Lil B sort to his twitter and left these exact comments:

“[Just] because they say osama is dead [doesn’t] mean that’s a good thing osama has family to that probably loves him alot as well”

In a recent interview with MTV RapFix, Lil B clarified his comments on bin Laden and stated he tries to never be too judgmental.

These were his comments:

“Thank you for bringing that up because I think this is a topic I really wanted to address on the broad scale. Really with that it’s because first thing I haven’t been too informed on the Osama bin Laden situation. When I like to get information I like to have a hundred percent truth. Before I even say something I like to really know what I’m talking about. First, I wasn’t looking. I haven’t really been paying attention to it…I wanted to know what drove Osama bin Laden to feel this way. Say for instance someone does something wrong to you there’s a reason behind stuff. Hate crimes, there’s a reason a behind that. Just the person that I am I like to sometimes take a deep breath and assess before I judge.”

The self-acclaimed Based God continued to add that he is totally against violence and war:

“I don’t support violence at all. I don’t support war, I don’t support anything that’s negative like that where people are against people with killing…No one deserves to die.”
