The song is Romeo‘s direct response to Bow Wow‘s "Fresh Azimiz." It began playing on Los Angeles radio station KKBT back in February. The song has Romeo boasting that he’ll take Bow’s "chick," while the video features a Ciara look-alike. Bow dated Ciara until the pair recently split. The clip has been streamed over 700,000 times on Yahoo! Music since premiering two weeks ago. Though the song and video has garnered nationwide attention, P claims that the offering hasn’t received much spins in Atlanta, GA, Bow’s adopted hometown.

Reps for Sony, Bow’s recording home, wouldn’t comment. Airplay monitoring charts indicate that only three stations in the U.S. have added the song to their rotation- KKBT, New Orleans, LA’s WQUE and Baton Rouge, LA’s WEMX. P also complained that the song has yet to be added to BET’s rotation. The single premiered on the network on April 20. Despite the campaign to get the dis played, P asserts that the feud with Bow isn’t personal. Yet, he noted that the rapper’s arrogance was getting out of hand.

Interestingly, "Fresh Azimiz" may not have been intended for P. As previously reported, P recently approached Bow backstage at the Nickelodeon Kid’s Choice Awards in Los Angeles. The New Orleans rapper was apparently particularly ticked off by Bow saying, "I’m 18 and making more than your dad" in the song. Word is Bow kept calm and replied, "Actually the song ain’t about you, but if the shoe fits…"
