Wayne is definitely on a higher pedestal than most other rappers as of late, even now as he most recently landed the cover of the latest edition of XXL for the sum odd numbered amount of times. XXl sat down with Weezy in the new issue about how he chose tracks for his upcoming album Tha Carter 4 and his recording process. The issue hits newsstands on July 12th.

“What is good about me is that I’m an interesting muthafucka. I’m Dwayne Michael Carter period! Whether I’m a rapper or not, I’m interesting. And that’s what my album’s gonna be about: me and how interesting I am.”
