Europe’s biggest music awards show took
place last night, November 6, in the heart of Liverpool, UK. The evening
started off with a crazy jump-off from rocker-chick and host, Katy Perry (well-known in Europe) performing her hit single – ‘I kissed a girl’.

Miss Sasha Fierce aka Beyonce came in as the 2nd performer of the night with
her new single ‘If I were a boy’ dressed in a… ehh? I would call it an
out-of-space ‘star wars’ looking like outfit. Umm ‘B’ we all know that you want
to be seen different nowadays but don’t push it. I don’t hate I just didn’t
appreciate that dress.I was however feeling that steel glove she
was wearing, it was quite cool. Anyways she made a great performance and I have
to salute her for her incredible talent and voice. Keep doing your thang B and
dare to be different!

Unfortunately not many hip hop artists were
nominated at the EMA’s but the dog-father Snoop was in the video star category with his ‘sensual seduction’ but
he didn’t take it home…

Kanye
West
performed his hit single ‘love lockdown’
followed by a sensational UK meets US performance with London’s Miss ‘American
Boy’ Estelle. They literally kicked
ass on stage , and what made it even more special was that this cool  ‘American Boy’ turned out to be the president
himself ‘Obama’ as he was flashing on the screen in the background by the end
of the song.

And the moment we all, or at least one man been
waiting for the past 2 years – Mr. West finally takes home an EMA award
under the Ultimate Urban category, Jesus walked with him tonight… brrrap!
congrats to you!!

‘The man of the year’ rap star – Weezy F
Baby was a favourite amongst many artists and was nominated an artists choice
award, he was even referred as the ‘best rapper alive’ according to Gym Class Heroes front man Travis Mccoy… not too bad to be
considered that! Well done – ‘lollipop man’. Sadly Lil’Wayne couldn’t attend the awards but he left a message to the
fans and viewers all over the world saying:
“There are some things money can’t buy – like
respect from the fans and other artists – so thank you!”
nice speech!
