The prestigious GA Music Hall Of Fame broke new ground this past Saturday as they inducted their first hip hop star into their hall of fame. Ludacris was bestowed the honor in front of hundreds to signify the mark he has made in the game and the achievements he has accomplished which include five multi-platinum albums, three Grammys, and parts in several acclaimed films such as Crash and Hustle & Flow.

Luda let everybody know in attendance that he has come a long way and he feels that he is in the best space of his life right now. “And just think 10 years ago I was trying to put pizzas through the oven at Pizza Hut to make sure I didn’t get fired,” he explained to a jam-packed crowd at the Georgia World Congress Center. “Now the only way I’ll get fired is if I fire myself, so that’s a beautiful thing right now for sure.”

Ludacris has recently been blazing the streets with his latest mixtape with DJ Drama titled, “The Preview”. The mixtape of course sets up the album, “Theatre Of The Mind” which is set to drop November 11th and feature tracks with The Game, T.I., Lil Wayne, T-Pain, Chris Brown, Sean Garrett, Floyd Mayweather, Common, Spike Lee, and rock band Good Charlotte.

Do you think Luda deserved to be the first GA rapper to get this honor? If not who do you think should have got it? Outkast, maybe….Who do you feel?
