Mac Miller as everyone knows he past away due to an accidental drug overdose on Sept. 7, 2018 last year and it’s being reported that the late rapper’s alleged drug dealer has been charged in connection with his death. After some investigation the Police states the morning of Sept 5, 2018 Cameron James Pettit sold Miller some mixed oxycodone pills that contained fentanyl, which we are told it can somewhere be 100 times stronger than morphine. Reports believe Miller’s death was caused by the fentanyl-containing drugs supplied by Pettit.

“Fentanyl disguised as a genuine pharmaceutical is a killer—which is being proven every day in America,” United States Attorney Nick Hanna said in a press “Drugs laced with cheap and potent fentanyl are increasingly common, and we owe it to the victims and their families to aggressively target the drug dealers that cause these overdose deaths.”

The alleged drug dealer will be charged with one count of distribution of a controlled substance in a criminal complaint from the Central District of California. Apparently there are three people who could be responsible for lacing the oxycodone pills with Fentanyl Pettit being one of them his name was brought up along with two unnamed suspects. State Attorneys claim that Mac Miller asked the dealer for “Percocet,” prior to his death. The actual documents mention that authorities executed search warrants at multiple locations including the rapper’s home, and found plastic bags containing Xanax, cocaine, and fentanyl were located. They found traces of cocaine, fentanyl, and alcohol were in his system.

The alleged drug dealer Pettit wrote on Instagram regarding Miller’s passing revealing to his friends that he was not going to post anything “just to be smart.” In a message on social media Pettit was asked how he was doing and said, “I am not great… Most likely I will die in jail.” Pettit was taken into custody Wednesday morning. If found guilty of all charges he is facing maximum 20 years prison sentence.

Fentanyl is the same drug that contributed to many deaths in the U.S.A. Just last month, the government seized enough fentanyl to kill somewhere around 14 million people in a three-state drug bust. These very dangerous and deadly opioids were traced back to Shanghai, China, with it being exported through the U.S. Postal Service.
