Everybody seems to want to put their two cents in when it comes to this Jay-Z/Beanie Sigel beef. Most recently, Former Bad Boy Mase has lent his opinions about this highly publicized dispute.

Mase seems to feel that nowadways beef’s are merely gimmicks instead of real conflicts that those of the early 1990s between the East and West Coasts.  According to Shade 45, Betha had this to say:

“Beans and Jay, I think it’s ridiculous,” Mase explained to DJ Drama. “I think it’s ridiculous you know, I think it’s ridiculous really. It’s not called for, you know what I’m saying? I don’t know, I come from a different, like when I was doing rap and people had issues, they just go across your head, they from that go up side generation. Not all these records and all that. They just go up. [laughs] When we was going up against the West Coast, it was like real serious issues, it wasn’t just do it because your album is coming out. The gimmicky era, ‘What I need to do to sell some records?’ I don’t believe you sell records off diss records, I think you sell ’em off hit records. It don’t matter what diss record you got, you still need a hit record.”

I mean I feel where Mase is coming from but honestly I think majority of the beefs are gimmick. Not just these days but even during the 90s. Some of that East Coast West Coast beef was all for show. I think this dispute truly stemmed from real issues but it just kinda got out of hand. Hey but it’s 2009, cats stay buggin!

Beanie been going in though. For those who haven’t heard some of this diss joints he has put out over the weekend. He is really in his feelings over this money issue. The most recent is called “How Can I Kill Jigga Man” which includes lyrics such as:

“The takeover, n*gga, the break’s over,” Beans raps. “Fraud emcee, he, Jay Hova/Hey little soldier you ain’t ready for the rude boy/quick to pull the tool boy/back out to you boy…Yeah I send something to you boy, let these hollows run through you boy/I’ll ruin boy, make your body leak fluid boy…Can’t trust you like a pope and a school boy/Think you’re cool boy, ’cause you’re running with the tool boy/You ain’t nothing but a mule boy/You ain’t a goon boy/You just a flip flop, white pants, greasy head funny looking school boy/Let’s get to it boy/You don’t really wanna do it boy…Yeah, what up boy? You don’t got no words for me boy? You don’t say nothing boy? D*mn, I thought you was the boy, boy? You ain’t nothing but a boy boy, boy. Holla at your boy. I ain’t gonna stop, boy! I’m not gonna stop.”

Wow, I mean I know I’m for peace and everything but I truly want to see Jay go in just one good time. Humor me! Anyhoo, Jay has yet to respond to the recent disses or Mase’s commentary. We’ll see what happens. I wouldn’t be surprised if one of them mysteriously went in on Mase. Comedy!

DMX In Trouble AGAIN!

Damn X, what you do now?  It seems as though DMX just can’t stay out of the heat. It has been reported that X is being sued for $1 million for dropping out of that highly-publicized celebrity fight.

I’m sure you’ve already heard about him backing out of the fight and the rumors that he was allegedly scared of fighting. He was supposed to fight actor Eric Martinez, but dropped out of the match claiming that his safety would be at risk. However the organizers of this fight allege that DMX quit after they refused to fix the fight so that he could win.

X is being sued by the promoters from Thunder Productions because they had to make some last minute arrangements and adjustments to the fighting lineup. X was replaced by rapper Coolio.

According to TMZ.com, the company filed the suit on Friday, November 20, 2009. Damn X, you just can’t seem to get a break! You just finished a year long sentence. Do you really want to go back? You could’ve just fought, got beat up and lived to see another day. COMEDY. I love my fellow X, but um it does seem to me like he is a bit scared to fight. Fixing the fight so you’d win? Not a good look. I’m thinking he should’ve just booked himself into Celebrity Rehab and called it a day but to each his/her own.

We’ll see how that goes and we will definitely keep you updated on this situation!

Chris Brown Calls Jay-Z a Cornball?

So I’m sure you guys know about the AMAs (American Music Awards) being televised last night. Well during Jay-Z’s performance there was special little Twitter that we think may have been meant for him. This twitter comment came from Chris Brown and it read “CORNBALL”.

Of course Breezy denies this but could it be that he is still upset for Jay shunning him after the violent brawl between him and Rihanna? Hmmm who knows, but all I do know is that Breezy erased that tweet down so fast which left me wondering… hmmm was it really meant for Jay-Z and Chris froze up and came to his senses in the midnight hour? COMEDY.

Whose to say really? All I know is, if that’s how you feel. Say how you feel Breezy. What you afraid he’s going to “Take You Down?” That was the FASTEST retraction I have EVER seen. Definitely not a good look. Even if he didn’t mean it for Jay, dude should’ve just stayed off Twitter that night. The funnest twitter regarding that night would have to be this message to Chris:

@MechanicalDummy what have we learned tonite? the delete button & rihanna=HITTING THEM DOESN’T HELP YOU! << ouch low blow

COMEDY!!!!!

I know I said I wouldn’t even talk about it, but c’mon who couldn’t resist that one. CORNBALL!!!! We’ll see if Jay is even going to waste his time to respond to this. Perhaps he’ll do a Beanie/Breezy Diss Combo!
