Actress/Comedian, Mo’Nique’s BET talk show has been canceled by the network. BET has responded to reports by Media Take Out and the Atlanta Journal-Constitution that “The Mo’Nique Show” has been canceled saying instead that it is on a “production hiatus.”
BET Spokesperson Kobe Swanson told EURweb, “The Mo’Nique Show will be on production hiatus beginning in the Fall.” He added, “However, new episodes of the show will continue to air throughout the summer. Mo’Nique Hicks and ‘The Mo’Nique Show’ are important to the BET Networks family and we look forward to continuing our relationship with her.” Mo’Nique’s sidekick Rodney Perry told EURWeb that the show was on an “indefinite hiatus.”
