The Brownsville vets are set to release The St. Marxmen on October 18th on Koch Records. The album features guest spots from Jay-Z, the late, great ODB, Wyclef Jean, and frequent M.O.P. collaborator DJ Premier.
“Cliff Cultreri and I signed M.O.P. First Family to Relativity Records, where the group had the most success,” says Alan Grunblatt, Koch Records GM and executive VP, in a prepared statement. “We’ve been friends for a long time, so it’s a natural fit for Koch to put out their next great release.”
Billy Danze and Lil’ Fame just came home from the Anger Management tour with 50 Cent – who recently signed them to his G-Unit imprint. 50 courted the group after they decided not to sign a deal with the Damon Dash Music Group, after the Roc-a-fella Records split. There have been no details concerning when their G-Unit debut will be released.
