Not only does Nicki Minaj get’s named as #6 by MTV but she also makes “History” being the first female artist ever to even make the Top 10. I personally think Nicki should been named a little higher even without an album out after the type of 2010 she’s had with all of her features with artist such as Robin Thicke, Usher, Ludacris, Trey Songz, Drake, Kanye West, Diddy & Dirty Money, Lil Wyane, Young Money, DJ Khaled, Mariah Carey, Gucci Mane, Will.i.am, Sean Kingston, Jay Sean to Reggae artist Egyptian, and success from her own single “Your Love” and now “Right Thru Me”. Her cult following and radio/internet impact she has had on the music industry has been nothing less than incredible. An I would have placed her in my personal Top 5 with the likes of Drake going in at #1, Eminem #2, Jay-Z #3, Rick Ross #4, Nicki Minaj #5 and Gucci Mane #6 because it would be too late to even add a Kanye West. But to see where Nicki has came from when I interviewed her for the first time back in 2007 to know is just amazing. It truly shows that dreams can come true once you add lot’s of hard work behind it. Nicki Minaj highly anticipated debut album “Pink Friday” will be dropping on November.22!
