Last week rapper Nas was forced to hand over nearly
$88,000 in back child and spousal support to estranged wife Kelis.
Since then, the civil contempt charge that Nas was
recently facing has been dropped due to the payment the rapper made.
According to the Associated Press, Nas and Kelis
reached an agreement:

 “A Los Angeles judge dismissed the contempt
allegation against the rapper Monday after he paid nearly $50,000 in
child support to his estranged wife Kelis.
Kelis’ attorney sought the contempt charge earlier this year
after Nas fell $200,000 behind on child and spousal
support payments. He was ordered in December to pay more than $51,000 a
month to Kelis and their infant son. In a statement
released Wednesday, Nas says, “All I want to do is make
music and raise my kids. Nothing else matters.”

Don’t know about anyone else but I’m secretly hoping they get back together!?!? I’m just saying!

Biggie’s Wrongful Death Suit Against LAPD Dismissed

Earlier this month, Judge Jacqueline Nguygen dismissed
the wrongful death lawsuit filed against the the city of Los Angeles and
the Los Angeles Police Department for the Notorious B.I.G.’s
death in 1997. The eight-year lawsuit claimed that former Death Row
owner, Suge Knight conspired with Amir
Muhammad, who was the alleged shooter, and LAPD officers Rafael
Perez and David Mack, in the murder of Biggie.
The lawsuit also named numerous high-ranking officials who had close
ties to Suge Knight. The lawsuit which was reinstated
in May of 2008 was dismissed on April 5, without prejudice. No further
details have been released.

Eric B. is Angry with Nicki Minaj

It looks like Nicki Minaj is not only leaving a bad
taste in the mouths of her female critics. Hip-Hop legend, Eric
B. can now be added to the list of enemies. During a recent
encounter with the pioneer, Minaj obviously left a on a
bad note because Eric B. wrote “Go f*ck yourself!” on
his Twitter page. In an exclusive interview with Diary of a Hollywood
Street King, Eric B. explained how Minaj
treated him like a groupie or obsessed fan. The Diary of HSK wrote:

“HSK has exclusively learned from legendary rap mogul Eric B
that the “Microphone Fiend” producer set out to meet Nicki
Minaj, after his daughter let her dad know that she was a fan
of Nicki’s mixtapes. So, E.I. hooked up the meeting for
Eric B — He tells me that he figured it was the right
thing to do for his daughter, so she could get her desired picture of
her dad with Nicki. But, the meeting didn’t exactly go
as Eric B thought it would have. He says when Nicki met
him, she treated him like he jumped over barricades and snuck by
security to meet her. Who the f*ck is this b*tch? Nicki actually treated
an OG of the rap game like a peasant. WTF? She needs to recognize that
she’s a new jack (and a shitty one at that) and bow down to those who
started this rap game! But, she didn’t. And that’s exactly why
Eric B told Nicki to go f*ck her herself…I
would too, wouldn’t you?”

Did Minaj go too far with her
celebrity status? Disrespecting a Hip-Hip legend? Not a good look Nicki!

Pop Singer Says He KNOWS 50 Cent is Gay

Pop Singer Rufus Wainwright has raised a few eyebrows
with his recent comment regarding rapper 50 Cent’s
homosexuality. During an interview with Details magazine, Wainwright
claimed that he knows 50 is gay. This is what he had
to say:

“I love, love 50 Cent. I think he’s just the
sexiest, and a brilliant writer. And I know he’s gay…That cute little
voice of his. It’s OK, 50 Cent. Feel free to call me
anytime. My boyfriend and I are experts. You can come over for dinner.
And maybe dessert.”

Do you think Wainwright is telling
the truth or is he simply trying to stir up some controversy? 50
