Nate Dogg, the crooner who appeared on several Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre hits, has been charged with 2 felonies after he supposedly chased down his girlfriend on a
Apparently the woman, known only as Latoya C., called 911 and stated that her “husband” was chasing her down the freeway and was going to kill her. After a trooper pulled Nate over they decided that Nate was actually chasing the woman and was trying to harm her. He was placed under arrest but was then released on $50,000 bond.
The official charges now pressed against Nate are stalking and making violent threats. The press release given by the cops states that Nate “willfully and unlawfully threatened to commit a crime which would result in death and great bodily injury to ‘Latoya C,’ with the specific intent that the statement be taken as a threat.” Nate has had a long history with this girl who has landed him in jail several times for their rocky and often violent relationship. He even held her and his own cousin hostage in his home for three days after walking in on them having sex. In addition to the felony counts Nate Dogg also caught a misdemeanor case for driving with a suspended license during the incident.
No statement has been issued by Nate and it is unknown when the next court hearing or proceeding will take place.
