Will 2010 prove to be the comeback year for Hip-Hop veterans Naughty By Nature? Maybe! The group has revealed that they are currently working on their latest album called “Anthem 8” that is due late spring. You might remember Naughty By Nature best for their singles “O.P.P.” and “Hip-Hop Hooray,” which became two of the biggest singles in Hip-Hop. They were definitely a huge force in Hip-Hop during the 90s, and now with two singles on iTunes, they intend to prove that they still got it! Group member Treach, also revealed that they are currently shopping a reality showed to be called “A Tribe Called Treach.”

“We working on a brand new Naughty album now, it’s called Anthem 8,” Treach disclosed to AllHipHop.com in an exclusive interview. “It’ll be out before the summer we got 2 singles on iTunes, ‘Get to Know Me Better’ and ‘I Gotta Lotta.’ And we shopping a reality show called A Tribe Called Treach. We doing all that and got that in motion.”

No word as to when that show will actually manifest. We all know that 2010 is the year of the comeback, so I’m looking forward to seeing what Naughty By Nature has in store.

C-Murder Speaks Out From Behind Bars

Recording artist and rapper Master P’s brother “C-Murder” has finally spoken out from behind bars. This former No Limit Records rapper was sentenced to life in prison last summer after a young boy lost was murdered. C-Murder, whose real name is Corey Miller, spoke to All Hip Hop regarding his current situation during his incarceration and how he hopes that his situation will motivate his fans to stay positive.

“I’m holding up pretty good here at Angola [State prison in Louisiana],” C-Murder wrote in a letter. “I work out regularly and participate in all sports leagues. Of course I hate it, but hey, you gotta do what you gotta do. Life is short and the time you waste in jail can never be replaced. I’m asking you guys to take heed to my situation and better yourselves to live a positive and productive life.”

While C-Murder has had his share of financial hardships including having a lack of income, property, or savings, two Harvard lawyers have come to his rescue to aide and assist with his appeal. Usually the costs would run around $20,702, but Murder has been declared indigent in order to access court records and make his appeal at no cost. No further information about his appeal has been released at this time.

Wyclef Jean Sends a Message to the Missionaries Accused of Kidnapping Haitian Children

Last week, Wyclef Jean addressed the
recent footage showing the victims of Haiti being maced by officials of
the United Nations. He wasn’t too happy with the treatment or “security
tactics” of the United Nations and said that he would address the issue
with the president of the UN.

“I was there doing a food drive and
when I was on my way to the food drive, I saw that long line with the
UN and it’s like, if I was on they line and I was in the front of htat
line with the UN, I would have clearly told them you can’t mace nobody.
If you spend eight or nine days and don’t eat, you’re gonna wild out.
Period. We do not approve the macing and we’re not going for it. I’m
gonna speak with the head of the UN about that.”

Now once again, Wyclef Jean is voicing his anger with the treatment of Haiti via Twitter. This time his frustration stems from those ten American missionaries from Idaho, who were charged with kidnapping children of Haiti after they were caught trying to take them to an orphanage located in the Dominican Republic. Although the missionaries deny claims that they were trafficking children and maintain that they were only trying to save children who had no place to go, Wyclef remains in an utter outrage and even sent a special message out to the missionaries.

“My message to the child traffickers in Haiti…I give you my word, we will hunt you Down one by one, and you will be judge with no Mercy,” the Haitian born rapper Tweeted, before lashing out at others who are selling goods like rice and gas at triple the price. “Is dat why da Aid being send is collecting dust @ da Airport?”

Everybody knows, Haitians don’t play! Yall better leave those children alone!  No word as to what exactly will happen to the missionaries, but according to reports, they could face some jail time for kidnapping. We will keep you posted on this issue.
