Throughout the span of his 19 year career, Shaquille O’Neal accomplished many goals, including winning 4 NBA Championships, just 2 under Michael Jordan. He will go on into the history books as one of the most talented, aggressive, and die hard players in the NBA. Many players that came into the NBA years after Shaq look at him as a very influential role model and respect him as a profound player. Some players looked to Shaq even as aspirations of going pro. O’Neal announced his retirement on Wednesday afternoon via twitter video. As his fellow NBA players caught wind of his retirement, they reached out their support on twitter.
