Recently AllHipHop.com has made reports that a three-year-old child has been hospitalized after a nearly-fatal drowning accident at Snoop Dogg’s residence. This incident took place on Saturday, July 4, 2009. According to the Pasadena Star News:

“The child, a 3 year-old boy, was hospitalized as a precaution but appeared to be doing fine after the incident was reported shortly after 10 p.m. in a gated community. The child apparently briefly slipped under water in a spa, and someone became concerned and called for help, fire officials said. The boy was in his mother’s arms, breathing and conscious, when firefighters arrived, authorities added. Fire officials said the rapper did not appear to be home.”

Apparently the child was treated as a precaution but eventually released from the hospital’s care. However, according to other sources, this incident didn’t actually take place at Snoop’s home but rather just in his neighborhood. Which is the truth, no one knows as of yet.

My question is where were the parents and why was the child left unattended? He is a three-year-old not a teenager. It’s sad that this isn’t the first time something like this has happened; most notably the child who drowned at the home of actress Pamela Anderson.

Right now there has been no word from Snoop on this incident. There will be more information to come as this story progresses.

Jay-Z’s Controversial Freestyle Causes A Stir Amongst Rappers

I know by now that we’ve all heard about Jay-Z’s controversial freestyle that took place at the concert he performed at The Palms in Las Vegas on Friday, July 3, 2009, in which he named The Game, Damon Dash, Jaz-o, and Jim Jones in his rhymes.

According to the Youtube video Jay had this to say in his freestyle:

“For what people be talking about all the time,” Jay raps on-stage. “Are we talking about fiction or are we talking about fact/You talking about fiction, hold up, pardon my back/I’m talking about life and all I hear is/Oh yeah he’s talking about cripe/I ain’t talking about profit, I’m talking about pain/Talking about the city, talking about shame/I ain’t talkin’ about gossip, I ain’t talkin’ ’bout Game/I ain’t talkin’ about Jimmy, I ain’t talkin’ about Dame/I’m talkin’ about real sh*t, this here is pain/Whatcha talkin’ about, I don’t know what y’all saying/Dudes keep talkin’ about/’Hov take it back’/I’m doing better than before, why would I do that…People trying to re-write history let’s talk about that/Dame made millions, even Jaz made some scraps/He could have made more but he ain’t sign his contract.”

Obviously Jay struck a chord with both Jim Jones and The Game as they both recently spoke out about it. Jones spoke out via Twitter saying:

“Question,” Jimmy wrote. “if someone says in the song I’m not talkin bout jimmy is tht not talkin bout jimmy lol we r back in business people.”

The Game’s response was a bit more serious. On his Twitter he had this to say:

“DO YALL THINK JAY-Z IS DISSIN ME ?,” he wrote. “YALL LISTEN & TELL ME WHAT YALL THINK ?!?!? & THEN WE CAN DECIDE HIS FATE !!! AIGHT SO, AFTER ABOUT 10,000 RESPONSES.. THE RESULTS READ THAT HE AINT DISSIN ME. & AS BAD AS I WANT TO RESPOND TO HIS OLD AZZ, HE CAN SLIDE”

Sounds like harsh words to me and the Game is really taking the freestyle to heart. The Compton bred rapper recently sparked his on controversy at his performance in Bordeaux, France on July 5, 2009. Why you ask? At this performance, Game and two members of his entourage stormed onto the stage and immediately took shots at Jay-Z.

According to AllHipHop.Com, Game had this to say:

“I’ma tell you like this. I don’t care what a n***a say. This is how I am coming out today. F**k Jay-Z. Straight up. And if you don’t like that, I am pretty sure you can find an exit some where. This is a Blackwall Street party. We sayin’ f**k Jay-Z.”

Both the rapper and the crowd repeated this six times in unison as The Game began calling Jay an “old ass n***a.” Then he proceeded to do a freestyle diss of his own to Jay’s “Death of Autotune” Instrumental.

Sounds like someone is a little salty there. I’m wondering why on his Twitter he didn’t have much to say but he waits until he leaves the country to start dissing? How ironic. Either way I’m just hoping this isn’t the beginning of a brand new beef. As of right now, Jay-Z has yet to comment back. Stay tuned!
