“Brass Knuckles,” Nelly’s first full album of new songs in
four years, is scheduled for release on August 19, 2008. On this fifth studio
album, he’s joined by top-notch producers and recording artists including Jermaine Dupri, Pharrell, Akon, Usher, T.I.,
Babyface, Snoop Dogg, LL Cool J, Ciara, Ashanti
and the St. Lunatics. 

“Party People,” the album’s debut single featuring Fergie, and produced by Polow Da Don, has bulleted into the Top
20 Rhythmic-Crossover radio format. The seethingly energized music video,
directed by Marc Webb with signature imagery from the film musical Moulin Rouge,
is in rotation on MTV and BET, and has generated over 2 million streams on youtube.com.

Nelly is CEO of the label he founded, Derrty Entertainment,
and has launched two successful clothing labels, Apple Bottoms (the No. 2
junior apparel line in the U.S.) and Vokal, as well as the all-natural energy
drink Pimp Juice. He is a co-owner of the NBA’s Charlotte Bobcats as well as a
noted philanthropist.  He has founded two charitable organizations, Jes
Us 4 Jackie and 4 Sho 4 Kids.
