New editor-in-chief Jesus Trivino, who is senior editor for Scratch magazine, will be releasing the Winter 2006 issue of Fuego this month with a feature on Ana Carolina. She is best known for regulating Bacardi ads, and dramatizing the small screen as a soap opera actress.
The issue also includes sex advice from Hip-Hop video vixen and Murda Mami Gloria Velez, and a Dave Chappelle diss from Comedy Central’s Carlos Mencia. Also featured is Akwid, one of the biggest Spanish language rap duos to ever blaze the mic, and Chingo Bling, speaking on being a prime example of a walking stereotype.
Reggaeton duo Wisin y Yandel, who are the key-players of the hit “Rakata,” one of the hottest Reggaeton songs of the year, also grace the pages of Fuego this month. They are responsible for R. Kelly’s recent Reggeton single “Burn it Up.”
Fuego also enlightens readers to the reality of military recruitment, with a feature on the government’s fixation with targeting Latino men, and readers can peep how old-school salsa album covers illustrated street cred in comparison with today’s rap album covers. Fuego, hits stores everywhere Tuesday, December 6th.
