Call it a anthem for the ladies, call it a club banger for the 2011,but whatever it is all the craze behind this single from Beyonce has hit an all time high as the full song finally leaks online.
Bey goes blow for blow as she chants: “Girls!/ We run this mutha/ Girls!/ Who run the world.” All atop a heavy club beat sampling that of Major Lazer’s ‘Pon de Floor.’
Beyonce added her own comments about the song:
“I’m mixing every type of genre that I love and I’m inspired by every type of genre. … I’m not in a box. It’s not R&B. It’s not typically pop. It’s not rock. It’s just everything I love all mixed together in my own little gumbo of music.
Veteran music video director Francis Lawrence also commented on the song:
“It’ll be big. It’ll probably be one of the bigger Beyoncé music videos ever done and I can say that I think the song is unbelievable. It is a fantastic song, so I really hope that song catches for her, and I think the video’s gonna be really fun and cool and different for her.”
‘Girls (Who Run The World)’ is the official lead single off of her fourth studio album that has already been set to release sometime this year.
