Los Angeles, CA – As Nicki Minaj gears up to go on tour a second time with Britney Spears, her more than a month R&R was added with a couple of appearances here and there, even one at the recent MTV Movie Awards in L.A. Minaj just so happened to present the Best Female Performance award alongside new star of Two & a Half Men Ashton Kutcher.

After presenting the award, Minaj had some time to spend with MTV News as they inquired about her upcoming tour and the fans would be expecting this time around.

These were her comments:

“We probably won’t start talking about what we’re planning for another couple days. I’ve been just rehearsing, and she’s been rehearsing, and we’ll be getting together in a couple days.”

With more than a month off since the completion of the ‘I Am Still Music Tour,’ Minaj said she’s been working on her stagecraft and theatrics trying to find a way to interject more drama into her performance.

“I’m just trying to put more theater on that stage. So much to me is music, but it’s also about putting on a show, so that’s my goal: to truly put on a show and incorporate theater and dance.”

“I think it’s pretty easy to take it to the next level … I think I’m nowhere close to where I could be as far as my shows have been. So I think it’s going to be pretty easy, actually.”

At press time, the Femme Fatale Tour with Britney Spears is slated to kick off June 16 in Sacramento, California.
