Los Angeles, CA – Nicki Minaj is literally on top of the world. As she graces almost every city on the continent, lends different verses to her YMCB fam, and gracing music videos, this is her moment and nobody would blame her if she wanted it for life. Even while still on the road and on tour with her label CEO, Lil Wayne, somewhere down the line she decides she wants to continue to go back on the road a second time with the Pop princess Britney Spears. While the first leg ends on May 1st, the second begins on June 16th, giving her only a month and a half for the triple ‘R,’ rest, relaxation, and recording. However, none of this is actually fading her from doing what she does best, performing and making music all for her fans. The recent news now; is that Minaj plans on making an official announcement about her sophomore album in September.

The Young Money femcee recently spoke to JoJo of L.A.’s KIIS FM about the question at hand, the follow up to multi-platinum selling debut.

These were her comments:

“You’ll get another album within 12 months,” Nicki told JoJo of LA’s KIIS FM. “I always write stuff down as they come. You’ll get the announcement for the next album in September. That’s all.”

Regardless of the fact that Minaj is on tour and making moves from different angles for next project, she is still very much involved in pushing the next single from her multi-platinum debut ‘Pink Friday:’

“I put my Barbs on detention yesterday because they were yelling at me and threatening to beat me up and kill me over the ‘Super Bass’ video. Last night I approved the final ‘Super Bass’ edit. So now it’s out of my control and I’m hoping you’ll get it before the week is out. But if not, you’ll get it at the top of next week.”
