Miami Springfest 2011 Sets Off with a Blast

Miami, FL – Memorial Weekend has always been grand in Miami. Between celebrities, fans, and artists flocking to South Florida by the dozens happens every single year. We have been known as the other city that never sleeps and with that title, throughout the whole city between Downtown Miami and South Beach events were being scheduled left and right with headlined artists ranging from different genres. Now with this year’s Miami Springfest and the annual Best of the Best, there were literally a plethora of industry artists and Reggae artists in the city.

This year, the promoters behind Best of the Best decided to put Hip-Hop & R&B Springfest Concert with the Reggae Best of Best Concert all in one weekend held at the Bicentennial Park. There were even exclusive parties surrounding these two events alone across the city. 24hourhiphop.com and the On the Clock Report Show were on the scene with Ms. Azi Aishling as she definitely made her presence felt.

Lil Wayne and Drake Shut Down King of Diamonds

Miami, FL – All the way on the other side of town, Young Money CEO, Lil Wayne and his label signee was having a grand party of their own at the infamous King of Diamonds. As other events were going on all over Miami, Weezy and Drizzy were making it rain all over the building. It was reported that Wayne cleared out the club’s bank when he bought $250,000 worth of singles.

As you know, this isn’t the first time that Wayne and the whole YMCMB camo have made it rain with so much that it flooded the club, it happens every single time. I guarantee you, somebody’s books or tuition were paid in full last night. Clever enough, somebody’s rent or car note probably got paid last night, too.
