Foxy Brown to be Released 

New York, NY – News has been
circulating over the weekend that Foxy Brown whose real name
is Inga Marchand is set to be released from New York’s Rikers
Island after serving eight months all according to her manager,
Chaz Williams. 

If you might recall, Brown
was sentenced in September on charges of violation of probation after
numerous run-ins with the law and several apprehensions. The judge that
ruled over her case sent her to serve a year in prison. One reported
arrest included an altercation with two nail salon employees in August
of 2004 and another assault charge on a neighbor with a BlackBerry.
She is set to be released on April 18.  

Williams left this comment
on the condition they kept her in and the currents status of her almost
forgotten career 

“They had her on continuous
lockdown just because she is a celebrity. They were trying to break
her spirit. She’s going to get on top of her career again. She’s ready
to hit the ground running and do anything she needs to do
to get her career back on point.” 

At press time, Brown is current
negotiations with several networks on appearing in her own reality show
or documentary. Her album that has been kept on the shelves has secured
a release date for May 13; it is amusingly titled ‘Brooklyn’s Don
Diva.’  

On the real, I think they’re
giving everyone a damn reality show nowadays, if either you’re a forgotten
rapper or a washed up actor, you’re secured the minimum requirements
to get your own show, what the hell is going on with television? And
when was the last time we even heard a hot track from Foxy, probably
when she was still with Hov, and even then, she was garbage.
If it hadn’t been for Jay, she wouldn’t even have a career.
Honestly though, I’m glad she’s being released, but now can she
stay out of trouble is the second question. She has been known to have
a short fuse when it came down to her temper, hopefully she can control
throwing objects at people, including cell phones and open bottles of
juice.


Vanilla Ice
Back in the Media

Wellington, FL. – Long time
forgotten rapper Vanilla Ice, whose real name is Robert Van
Winkle, has managed to find himself back in the media, however this
time, like many others, it’s not for a good cause. The (second) originator
of Ice Ice Baby has found himself behind bars for allegedly shoving
his wife during an argument. 

The 39 year old former rapper
was arrested in his South Florida home in Wellington after his wife
called 911 claiming that Ice had kicked and hit her over an argument
with the purchase of a new bedroom set. She later reduced the claim
to a pushing incident.  Even though he denied any physical contact
with her, he was still apprehended by authorities on simply a domestic
battery charge. He was released on Friday (April 11) pending trial. 

Apparently, this wasn’t the
first time Ice found himself in jail; he once was arrested back in 2001
for a domestic dispute.  

Where the hell has this fool
been? Last I heard from him, he was on yet another reality show blowing
a fuse and causing havoc against the other surrealists. On the real
though, if you might recall, this is the same guy who was held atop
a balcony in a hotel by Suge Knight and goons in the early 90s over
song royalties, I can understand by he’s so damn mad all the time.  


Rihanna Shocked by Royal
Wedding 

New York, NY – We are now
all aware of the secretive wedding between Jay-Z and Beyonce
as it went just public a couple of days later. Well, apparently,
Rihanna wasn’t quite informed on the whole assembly.  

Rihanna told People.com that
she didn’t know it even occurred, apparently nobody knew. The wedding
has yet to be confirmed, but Beyonce has been seen walking around flaunting
a huge rock on her ring finger. It’s amusing how sometime last year
after the release of the successful ‘Umbrella,’ there were scattered
rumors that something was firing up between Jay-Z and Rihanna. Either
way, that rumor was never confirmed, but the rumor of a relationship
between Chris Brown and Rihanna have, pictures are worth a thousand
words.

There are even other rumors
that have been circulating recently that the reason for the rushed wedding
was because that Beyonce was pregnant. You be the judge.
