Beanie Sigel and 50 Cent Go Off on Jay-Z Diss Song

New York, NY – The shit has officially hit the fan, the Beans and Jay-Z rivalry has recently hit an all time high. It seems as though the furious Beans is continuing to publicly disparage Jay-Z alongside the assistance, or should I say instigation of 50 Cent, with the recent release of a blatant diss record directs towards Jay-Z.

The record, entitled ‘I Go Off,’ premiered this past Thursday night (November 12) on Philly’s Power 99 and NY’s Hot 97. The record has already reached over 90,000 plays on ThisIs50.com. The official listing of the track is written as ‘Beanie Sigel featuring 50 Cent,’ the interesting part about that is the fact that 50 doesn’t have an individual verse per say, but instead vocals the hook and gives a speech at the end of the track. However, throughout the whole song, Beans doesn’t even mention any names.

Beans spit some vicious lyrics on this track:

“Big Pop of the prop on deck/ Who shot ya?/ Who want beef with Big Poppa?/ … I earned every buck that was mine/ I know niggas upstate doing life in a box/ I know niggas upstate doin’ life with they pops.”

Towards the end of the song, 50 calls out Jay and questions his street cred:

“You changed, man. You let the money change you. You used to be from Marcy, nigga. Now you’se a ‘Pass the Grey Poupon nigga.’ You don’t want the shooters? I’ll take ’em. Feed the wolves, or the wolves will feed off you. … It’s your move, nigga.”

At press time, Jay-Z has yet to respond to neither Beans nor 50 in a track or a statement.

Keep posted to 24hourhiphop.com for updated on the rivalry between Beans, 50, and Jay.

I’ve been wanting to comment on this, ever since news broke of Beans going in on Jay. What the hell is going to through Beans’ head? And why doesn’t it surprise me that 50 is involved as an instigator? I really want to see how far this actually goes, cause, Jay has had many feuds in the past in which he’s always come out on top.

Mega Producer Bryan Michael Cox Discusses Usher’s New Album

Atlanta, GA – The anticipation into Usher’s new album has been in the air for quite some time now, ever since the release of his latest hit single based on a personal note, ‘Papers,’ clues into the album have been enticing fans on what the R&B superstar has in store for his fans this time around. As a matter of fact, because of the huge success of ‘Papers,’ Usher and his label has decided to push the forthcoming album up instead of waiting until 2010.

Mega producer Bryan Michael Cox, who has been known to produce many R&B hits over the past decade, recently spoke with MTV News giving some insight into Usher’s sixth studio album ‘Raymond vs. Raymond.’ According, the album deals with a lot of personal attributes dealing into his divorce with Tameka Foster and his present life:

“I think Usher is in a place where he really wants to express what’s going on in his life, as any artist would. All the greats did it. Marvin Gaye did Here, My Dear. All the greats express where they are personally.”

Cox says, Usher narrates stories through his new material that can relate to many people who’s been though similar situations:

I think [the new album] is where we are going to see Usher as an artist. I’m very curious to hear what the rest of the album is going to sound like. Our records are definitely in that lane of touching on what’s going on in his life, so we are going to see what’s going to happen. I’m very excited about the album. I think he has a lot to say.”

At press time, ‘Raymond vs. Raymond’ has been officially set to be released on December 21, a Christmas release. Representatives for Usher have recently confirmed this release date with MTV News.

On the real, I’m actually curious on what Usher has in store for his fans in this upcoming album that he just renamed ‘Raymond vs. Raymond’ from the original title ‘Monster.’ I’ve heard some leaked tracks that actually sound like he back in the club scene, yet on a more mature level. Some tracks are even subliminally directed towards the recent divorce between him and Tameka.

Video Premiere of Rihanna – ‘Russian Roulette’

It has been 9 months since the brutal attack that Rihanna received at the hands of then-boyfriend and then-R&B superstar Chris Brown and now with the memories still lodged in her mind, but now behind her and the court case surpassed, she pushes forward into her fourth studio album with plenty of deep personal attributes. The first single, ‘Russian Roulette,’ was written and co-produced by R&B veteran Ne-Yo, deals with issues that the public and her fans know all too well.

The video for track was just released and just like the song the video just as eerie, as it dwells into the dark arts. Director Anthony Mandler, who states that the video is a ‘perfect embodiment of a haunting ballad,’ recently spoke with MTV News concerning the vision behind the video:

“I think that with this song and the meaning of this song and how loaded it all is, no pun intended, how much imagery and perhaps symbolism that is loaded in this song, the only way to do it was to do something that was visually challenging.”

“I think you can’t effect change unless you’re willing to take a risk. You can’t get people to pay attention and understand unless you’re willing to push the limit and try new things. The song, this situation, everything is so frontloaded with so much gossip and so much media coverage and so many emotions and stories that if you don’t try to do something that is poetic and layered in symbolism, then you’re either running from the truth or you’re being too obvious with it. Our objective was to run down our lane with it and to step out of the drama and the gossip, to get deeper and be more symbolic.”

The video premiered this past Friday (November 13) on 20/20. ‘Rated R’ has been set to be released on November 20.
